Twin Cedars’ hard-and-softball teams couldn’t find a win last night in their varying contests. The softball team fell 12 – 5 to Seymour; Mackenzie Sedlock was the losing pitcher, allowing ten hits in 2 1/3 innings, while Seymour swatted 20 hits total for the game. The Sabers’ offense belted 12 of their own, led by Hannah Bonnett who went 3-for-4 with an RBI, and Marisa Lundy and Bailey Dunkin both had two and an RBI. Twin Cedars’ baseball lost two one-run affairs, dropping 5 – 4 and 6 – 5 to Iowa Christian Academy. They’ll play Cardinal of Eldon tomorrow night, and the softball team returns to the diamond this evening for a game against Moulton-Udell.
