The Knoxville City Council will hold a public hearing and have the first reading of an amendment to the non-conforming lots ordinance during their regular meeting today.
The city’s planning & zoning commission will offer a recommendation to resolve the issue. Knoxville City Manager Harold Stewart says since the code is being changed, it must go through a public process before it’s adopted.
The council will also have readings on ordinances and amendments for golf cart seating requirements, changes to the city fire code, and permit fees pertaining to streets, sidewalks, and public ways.
The Knoxville City Council will meet at City Hall beginning at 6:15pm and the meeting can be heard on AM 1320/FM 95.3 KNIA.
