Versendaal-Wilcox

Two Newton women are facing felony theft charges in Knoxville.

37-year-old Lisa Elaine Versendaal and 36-year-old April Ann Wilcox have both been charged with 2nd degree theft, a Class D felony.

According to court documents, on June 14th, the two were seen at Walmart in Knoxville stuffing $1,286.22 worth of merchandise into storage containers, then walking out of the store. Versendaal and Wilcox were identified as having returned to the store Wednesday and were arrested.

Wilcox is also charged with 3rd and 4th degree theft for two other incidents at the same Walmart.

Both are scheduled to appear in court on Friday, July 17th.
