Flooding along English and Cedar Creeks looks to be causing more road damage in Marion County.

Mike McMurray with the Marion County Secondary Roads Department tells KNIA/KRLS News seven roads were underwater Friday morning but all were expected to be reopened by the end of the day. He believes they’ll be repairing roads again, but it doesn’t seem like they’re as bad as when the area flooded a few weeks ago.

McMurray said water at 155th Place south of G-76 was going over the road harder than a couple weeks ago. He adds they’re documenting the area by taking pictures and video, so it can be sent to FEMA, if the government declares the area a disaster.
