A Knoxville man accused of shooting another man in the head has changed his plea to charges in the case.
According to Marion County Attorney Ed Bull, 59-year-old Ricky Lee Hyatt has pled guilty to reckless use of a firearm, a Class C felony, assault causing serious injury, a Class D felony, and intimidation with a dangerous weapon, also a Class D felony.
Hyatt was arrested on October 23rd at a residence on the 900 block of North Roche Street for shooting 28-year-old Sean Vrban of Knoxville in the head. Vrban survived the incident.
Bull tells KNIA/KRLS News they intend to ask for a 20-year prison term when Hyatt is sentenced on Friday, August 28th.
