The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame will honor one of the greats not only in sprint car racing…but a true legend of the Knoxville Raceway and the Knoxville Nationals. Five-time Nationals Winner Doug Wolfgang will be the Salute To Champions driver this year. Hall of Fame Executive Director Bob Baker tells KNIA/KRLS Sports fans can see a lot of memorabilia from Wolfgang. Wolfgang won the Knoxville Nationals in 1977, 78, 84, 85, and in 1989. He currently ranked second on the all-time Knoxville Raceway wins list with 60 and is a two-time Knoxville Raceway track champion.
