He’d never won anything before.

Yet, Knoxville’s Steve Wilson now has a new toy to play with: a Harley Davidson motorcycle, courtesy of the Knoxville Hospital & Clinics Foundation and Cobblestone Hotel and Suites.

Cobblestone donated the bike to the foundation, who decided to hold a raffle to give it away. Wilson’s ticket was drawn as the winner and announced during the finale of the Knoxville Nationals. He got the keys to his prize on Monday at Knoxville Hospital and Clinics.

Wilson said he wasn’t present when they announced he was the winner, but got flooded with phone calls that night saying he’d won. He didn’t believe any of the calls, thinking someone was trying to play a joke on him.

The raffle generated $18,638 for the Knoxville Hospital & Clinics Foundation, which will go towards renovations to the hospital.
