The Pella Fire Department responded to a fire call at the Super 8 Friday evening.

Pella Assistant Fire Chief Joel Braafhart tells KNIA/KRLS News at 5:07 p.m. they received a call for a fire inside the hotel. He says the flames started with a grease fire. The hotel is closed for the evening due to electrical damage. No injuries were reported. The Pella Police Department and Pella Ambulance assisted at the scene.
