Going into their third game of the season with a 2 – 0 record and a No. 3 next to their name in Class 1A, the Pella Christian football team didn’t appear to have many chinks in their armor. That was until Albia came into town and wore down the Eagles’ defensive front and ran away with a 62 – 21 victory that left more question marks than answers entering the district slate this Friday. Coach Rich Kacmarynski still feels good about his team, which he should, but says his guys need to buck up the rest of the way when they face other strong squads. Pella Christian will face a team they haven’t beaten in a few years: Sigourney-Keota at home in three days. You can hear the call on KNIAKRLS.com and via our free mobile app.
