Ken Locke Stadium will be the base for the runners in this year’s Knoxville Cancer Relay.

The group, who ran across Iowa and raised over $17,000 for Knoxville Coaches vs Cancer last year, decided to keep this year’s event local for more community involvement.

There will be a kickoff party at the stadium Thursday night from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. The KNIA/KRLS Big Red Radio will be providing music and making announcements throughout the event.

The 2015 Knoxville Relay will begin Thursday evening and conclude just prior to the start of the Panthers football game against Pella Friday.
