The Marion County Sheriff’s Office has turned to social media to get the word out about wanted criminals.

Sheriff Jason Sandholdt says they’ve started to use their Facebook page to post photos of wanted persons in Marion County. He says the purpose of posting the photos is so they can get the public’s help in finding out their whereabouts, no matter how long ago the crime was committed, so they can be held accountable.

Sandholdt says the list of wanted persons will be updated about once a week, and will be available at www.kniakrls.com.
