The Pella Chamber of Commerce and local businesses are encouraging women to get together for a new weekend getaway.

Pella Chamber Event Coordinator Sarah Treft says the first annual PELladies weekend will feature entertainment, classes, and more on Thursday, January 28th through Saturday, January 30th. Treft tells KNIA/KRLS the weekend was developed by a committee of Chamber members as a community event during an off-peak time of the year.
