It’s the end to the regular and conference season for the Pella Christian girls’ basketball team tonight when they travel to Dallas Center – Grimes. The Eagles’ girls fell in their first meet-up with the Fillies, 46 – 28, mostly due to being outscored 18 – 1 in the third quarter. They were even with D-C-G for the other three periods. Pella Christian’s boys are coming off of a strong 32-minute effort versus Grinnell that resulted in them winning, 64 – 56, which snapped an eight-game conference losing streak. They only fell by three to the Mustangs in their first go-‘round. After the win over the Tigers, Coach Larry Hessing says he’s looking for some consistency from his Eagles the rest of the way. Tonight’s twin-bill in Grimes is scheduled for a 6:15 p.m. start.
