The Marion County Board of Supervisors approved a five-year Plan for the Secondary Roads Department yesterday.
County Engineer Tyler Christian tells KNIA/KRLS News major projects in the 5 year plan are the resurfacing of the G-40 curve and T-17, including Elevator Road, as well as several county bridges that are in need of repairs. Christian adds that the ten cent fuel tax increase has made many of these projects possible. Christian says the five-year plan can be adjusted to meet needs in the county that develop unexpectedly.
