Knoxville Community Schools Business Manager Craig Mobley tells KNIA/KRLS News the Department of Education has released a document that clarifies gray areas in funding for student activities.

The clarifications will have a significant impact on the way that outside organizations like booster clubs and alumni groups interact with the school. Mobley says that it will take the district some time to review the document, but when it’s fully understood a guide for Knoxville Schools activity funding will be created.
