Shooting the only sub-300 team score in the finale of the Gorlok Spring Invitational, the Central men’s golf squad remained in third place for the tournament on Tuesday. Nearly every Dutch golfer improved upon their Day One score, and only five shots separated the top individual on the team from the “worst.” Kacie Broeg shot a 74 yesterday to finish with a 152 and a ninth place standing, and Nash Bucher was 21st overall and wound up with a 157 total score. Central is now in preparation to defend their Iowa Conference tournament championship; they will play the first two rounds of it on April 22 and 23 at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City.
