Traffic was partially blocked for nearly an hour as crews worked to remove a tipped over tractor at the corner of T-17 and 228th Place Saturday afternoon.

Pella Rural Fire crews were called to the Elevator Road turnoff at approximately 2 p.m. for a tractor on its side and leaking gas onto the roadway.

First responders partially closed the intersection as another tractor was brought in to tip up the damaged vehicle.

No injuries were reported. The Iowa State Patrol and Pella Ambulance also assisted at the scene.
