A Kellogg man has pled guilty to charges related to a January incident at a downtown Pella apartment.
Joshua D Sharp, 25, received deferred judgment and three years probation following a guilty plea to 3rd degree burglary, a class D felony, a reduced charge of assault causing bodily injury.
According to court records, Sharp entered the apartment of a female without permission at approximately 1 a.m. on January 3rd. Upon entering, police say Sharp assaulted another occupant, chipping two of the man’s teeth.
Court filings also indicate that Sharp was arrested for stalking – violation of a no contact order, a class D felony on a warrant in March, and filed a written plea of guilty earlier this week.
Sharp had that no contact order with the victim extended until 2021.
