The Knoxville Public Library will host the TRACES Center for History and Culture BUS-eum exhibit “At Home in the Heartland: Forgotten Stories of How Iowans Got to Be ‘Us.’”
Librarian Rosalind Thompson says visitors with be treated to an immersive experience. The exhibit also answers questions about Iowa history. How did the state come to be named Iowa? Who were the people who settled the state? How did Iowans bring refugees to the Hawkeye State during World War Two? The “Buseum” will visit on Monday, May 2 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
