The Knoxville Panther Scholarship Foundation gave out a record number of scholarships last night.
President Curt Froyen tells KNIA/KRLS News that the community has given generously to support the endowment and keeps offering educational opportunities to Panther graduates. The scholarships are open to all Knoxville high school graduates including those already in college. Froyen says 178 scholarships were awarded this year. The event was held at KPAC.
