PCM Baseball fell victim to cold bats again and would fall to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont 4-0.
Gunnar Davis would be on the mound for six strong innings and give up three earned runs on just six Rocket hits and took the loss. Braden Phifer would pick up two hits, and Tyler Foster and Ethan Thomas picking up hits as well. The loss puts the Mustangs at 4-7 on their current five game losing streak, and will look to get back to their winning ways against Nevada tonight. The Softball team also ran into trouble against a strong Chariton team, falling 4-2. Kayla Jennings would be in the circle for the Mustangs taking the loss despite giving up only eight hits. Abby Waddell had a home run and Jaiden Rogers went 2-3 at the dish. The gals will also head to Nevada for a matchup tonight.
