The Knoxville Baseball and Softball Squads will travel to Chariton tonight. The baseball Panthers try to keep a hold of the South Central Conference lead in a varsity double header. The Panthers climbed to the top of the conference with two big wins last Friday over Albia and an extra inning victory over Clarke on Monday. Assistant Coach Tyler Pearson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports they need to get back to basics of fielding, throwing, and catching. The Softball Panthers got a huge win over class 3A sixth ranked Clarke on Monday night. The Panther bats seem to be coming around and they hope that trend continues tonight.
