The 6th annual June Jog is being held this morning.The Knoxville Recreation Center and Knoxville Hospital and Clinics are putting on 5K and 2 mile events. The starting gun will be fired at 8 a.m. Ribbons and medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age group. Recreation Director Brandon Nemmers says the race is a great way to promote activity in the community. KNIA/KRLS’s Big Red Radio will be at the event making announcements and playing music. Results will be posted at KNIAKRLS.com after the race.
