An intersection near downtown Pella will be closed until the fall due to ongoing road reconstruction.

The corner of Washington and East 1st is now blocked from traffic as part of the Washington Street project from East 1st to Hazel Street.

Closures can be expected until late this autumn as the road, sewer, and water mains are all replaced along that stretch of road.
