Congressman Dave Loebsack was at the Coffee Connection in Knoxville Saturday as part of his Coffee With Your Congressman tour.

Loebsack discussed veteran’s issues, election financing and the Knoxville VA with constituents. Loebsack made special mention of his concerns about privatized Medicaid and made it clear that he would like constituents to contact his office about their experiences with the new system. He believes privatization will likely negatively impact patients and care providers. Loebsack will face a Republican challenge in November from Dr. Christopher Peters of Coralville.
