The Citizens of Melcher-Dallas are in the process of developing a comprehensive plan for the future of the city.

Andrew Collings with the Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization, the group putting the plan together, is calling for significant community input on the project. Collings calls the comprehensive plan a guide for policymakers to know what citizens want their community to look like over time. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at the Melcher-Dallas Community Center June 16.
