A cross-promotional event with the Knoxville Raceway and Iowa Speedway was held Wednesday at Slideways Karting Center in Knoxville.

IndyCar drivers Max Chilton and Conor Daly, along with Knoxville sprint car drivers McKenna Haase and Davey Heskin raced karts to promote the upcoming Iowa Corn 300 at the Iowa Speedway. Daly, a rookie on this year’s IndyCar circuit encouraged fans of Knoxville sprint car racing to come out and enjoy a different style of racing at the Iowa Speedway. This is the tenth year of the Iowa Corn 300; it will be run July 10.
