Knoxville Hospital and Clinics is seeking volunteers for programs to engage and entertain patients.

Hospital Activities Director Lynda DeBold says patient’s recovery is expedited if they can stay active and positive. DeBold wants volunteers to sing, knit, play cards, and spend time with patients at the hospital. It’s good for patients to have company and something to occupy their minds. DeBold encourages anyone interested in volunteering to contact the hospital and ask for the Activities Department.
