The Knoxville Rotary Club presented the Dr. George H. Andrew Service Above Self Award at their Wednesday meeting.

Abie Davis received the award for his contributions to Rotary and Knoxville. Davis has been a member of Rotary since 1967 and has been a consistently active member throughout that time. He is a Paul Harris Fellow, has served on many professional boards and the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce Board.

Harv Sprafka with Knoxville Rotary, who presented the award, says Davis is a humble man who exemplifies the values of Rotary’s motto: “Service over Self.”
