Transformations to the outside of the Kuyper Athletics Building have started to take shape at Central College.
President Mark Putnam says the $15 million expansion and renovation has made significant progress this summer.
“We’re excited to see things appearing from the ground,” Putnam says. “There’s always that period of time at the beginning of the project where it looks like they are just moving a lot of dirt. But now we’re starting to see the infrastructure appear, and we know it’s having a great in terms of our anticipation and excitement.”
It’s all part of the college’s Forever Dutch Initiative, which Putnam says has seen great response as staff has traveled for fundraisers this summer.
