The Pella Police Department has finalized the next hire of an officer, and plan to have the new member sworn in tomorrow.
Devin Mandi will be welcomed to the force by Mayor Jim Mueller to begin the regular city council meeting. The department has hired Mandi and Officer Drew Shinkle as part of an expansion of department staff and to replace retiring officer Dave Orr. Pella’s city council meeting begins at 7 p.m. tomorrow at the Public Safety Complex on Liberty Street.
