The Knoxville Music Boosters are having a car wash, complete with lunch, and inflatables for kids and the KNIA/KRLS Big Red Radio, all supporting the drive for new Knoxville High School Marching Band uniforms.
The Boosters and members of the band will be washing cars at Motor Inn of Knoxville on Saturday, August 27. A free will donation is requested. Erin Metier, a senior with the Knoxville High School Band says looking good is important for marching bands. Crisp and attractive uniforms help bands play well together. The car wash starts at 10:30 a.m. and will continue until 1:30 p.m. The event is sponsored by Motor Inn of Knoxville, Hy-Vee and the one to count on KNIA/KRLS Radio.
