Parents and students will have the chance to meet their teachers Monday in the Tulip City.

Afternoon meet the teacher sessions in Pella are scheduled at Madison, Lincoln, and Jefferson Schools for Pella Community School District kids. One of the new teachers they’ll meet is Central College alum Nikki Fox, who is excited to come back to Pella because of the recognition the district receives for education and the quality of life in the community.
“One of the reasons that my husband and I decided to move back to Pella was because of the opportunities for our own children–the things that they would have access to that they probably wouldn’t have in other towns, and I know it’s a great environment for them grow up in,” she says.
An open house is scheduled at 5:30 for Pella Christian Grade School as well.
