The Pleasantville Trojan volleyball team got back to action Tuesday night in Truro Iowa as the Trojans hit the road to take on the Interstate 35 Road Runners.
The Trojans are coming off a week layoff in which the team worked on team building, mental toughness and lots of conditioning. Coach Jenn Douma’s squad came into Tuesdays match up in search of their second win of the season that would tie last year’s mark at 2 wins. The Trojans who already have already played Interstate 35 once this year in a triangular match along with Mount Ayr, where back at the Interstate 35 gym Tuesday looking to show improvement after the week off. The Trojans would drop all three matches 26-28, 12-25, and 18-25 but showed improvement across the board after the Trojans only scored a total of 16 points in the match up last time against the Road Runners. With homecoming this week Pleasantville will have another week to work on more improvements before their next match October 4th at Southeast Warren.
