This year’s Knoxville Cancer Relay begins October 13.

Northcote Meats and Hy-Vee will be serving food. Free will donations will be accepted to contribute to this first event of many that make up the yearly effort for Coaches versus Cancer. Organizer Brian Hatch says efforts have been made this year to include as many people as possible in the relay. There will be a cancer survivor walk around the track at 6:30 – all cancer survivors are welcome to participate. The relay starts at 7:00. Vehicles from the police and fire departments will lead the first leg of the relay.
