The Knoxville City Council met in regular session last night.

The Council accepted Ben Arkema as a reserve police officer, heard a feasibility study presentation by Neumann Monson Architects and took action on proposals from Fire Recovery EMS and Cornerstone to provide a billing service for emergency medical transports, selecting Fire Recovery EMS to oversee the billing on the recommendation of Fire Chief Jim Mitchell. The council also adopted the Marion County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan.
