Two Central women’s soccer player and a volleyball standout have received weekly Iowa Conference honors.

Rachel Verhun and Lauryn Kramer of the women’s soccer team were recognized as Players of the Week for helping Central to three shutout victories, extending their winning streak to nine and bringing their season record to 9-1-1.

Senior volleyball player Nicole Ewoldt is the Player of the Week. She led the Dutch to conference victories over both Loras and Dubuque this weekend, stretching their winning streak to five and improving their record to 9-8 and into second place in the IIAC at 3-1 halfway through the season.
