After just a one game home stand, the Simpson Storm Football Team heads to Waverly to take on Iowa Conference powerhouse Wartburg this afternoon.

After falling to Luther last week in their home opener, the focus this week for the Storm has been stopping the run and shoring up their fundamentals on defense, which will be needed against Wartburg who was picked as a preseason favorite to contend for the Iowa Conference title. Simpson will have star running back Jordan Beem one more week closer to full health, and will need every bit of their senior to get back to an even record in the Iowa Conference.
