Residents with expired or unused prescription drugs are asked to bring them to a nationwide take back program today.

Lt. Paul Haase with the Pella Police Department says they are accepting the drugs in their lobby from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. He says the program aims to keep prescriptions from falling into the wrong hands. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is also participating, with a drop box in their lobby.
