Pella Corporation announced four new vice presidents, all from within the company.

“These new positions are the result of restructuring within Pella Corporation to better serve our customers and grow our presence in the marketplace,” Karin Peterson, vice president of human resources, said in a statement. “We are pleased to recognize Cole, Matt, Ben and Bill’s past results and leadership potential by moving them into these key executive roles.”

Cole Adrian has been with Pella for 20 years when he joined the company as a department manager. “This is where I began to truly understand the culture and ‘heart’ of Pella Corporation; it’s people,” added Adrian. He continued to work in various sales and distribution roles, including managing sales locations in Chicago, Minneapolis, and Toronto. Most recently, Adrian was the director of retail sales. He is a graduate of Central College in Pella.

Matt Poulter began his career with Pella as a department manager at the Shenandoah, Iowa facility, 17 years ago. He also filled various roles within the company, including being general manager at sales locations in Dallas and Southern California. Most recently, Poulter was the director of trade and commercial sales. “I have served in many communities and enjoy sharing my skills I have developed at Pella through charitable work,” said Poulter. Poulter is a graduate of Dana College in Blair, NE.

Ben Cox has been with Pella Corporation since 1989 when he started as a general accountant. He has held various finance roles including positions at Pella’s facilities in Portland, OR and Gettysburg, PA. Most recently, Cox has been the controller of sales, marketing & product development. “It is an honor to take on this new role and I look forward to this leadership opportunity with the sales subsidiaries,” said Cox. He is a graduate of Morningside College in Sioux City, IA and earned his MBA from Drake University in Des Moines, IA.

Bill DeMeulenaere came to Pella in 2001 as general counsel and added the responsibilities as the head of internal audit and tax in 2013. He leads the Pella legal department and legal strategy while managing the tax, internal audit and insurance needs for the company. “It is an honor to add the responsibilities as a vice president on top of my role as general counsel to help Pella grow,” said DeMeulenaere. He graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, IA with an accounting degree and received his MBA and Juris Doctor degree from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA.
