Student Combos present a Christmas concert, directed by Gabriel Espinosa. Admission is $10, free with Central College ID.

Directing One Scenes
7:30 pm. Dec. 2 and 3
Kruidenier Theatre
Student directors showcase their theatre work with a night of single scenes.

Flying Pans Steel Band Caribbean Christmas
7:30 pm. Dec. 3
Vermeer Banquet Room in Graham Conference Center
The Flying Pans present a Caribbean Christmas musical extravaganza, directed by Stan Dahl. Admission is $5 or an unwrapped, new toy for Toys for Tots.

Symphonic Wind Ensemble
3 p.m. Dec. 4
Douwstra Auditorium
The 50-piece instrumental group Symphonic Wind Ensembles (SWE) performs, directed by Mitchell Lutch. Admission is free.

Christmas Candlelight Concerts
7:30 pm. Dec. 8 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Des Moines
8 pm. Dec. 9 and 10 in Douwstra Auditorium
The A Cappella Choir and Chambers Singers perform in one of Central’s favorite annual events, directed by Mark Babcock. Admissions is $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens and students, and free with Central ID.
