The PCM Mustangs will host the Saydel Eagles on the hardwood tonight inside the PCM high school gym.
Both the girls and boys basketball teams will look to stay undefeated as the girls go for their 4th straight win and the boys try to follow up Tuesday nights season opening win with an encore performance tonight. The girls will look for top scorer and senior leader Kayla Jennings get back to her regular form after being held to just five points Tuesday night against Roland Story. Despite the low scoring from Jennings the Mustangs still pulled out a 22 point victory over the Norsemen and will look to continue their dominating ways as they face Saydel tonight, a team they swept last season. On the boys side junior Jackson Thomas will look to continue with his hot hand after a 20 point career high game against Roland Story on Tuesday. The Mustangs will look to keep the wins coming against a Saydel team that like the girls the boys swept last season. If the boys want to keep the wins coming, developing a second scoring threat could be crucial and junior Elijah Sperfslage will look to step into that role after dishing in 10 points himself against Roland Story. The Mustangs and Eagles hit the hardwood tonight inside the PCM high school gym with the girls game getting things started at 6 pm and the boys game to follow at 7:30.
