Nobody was injured when a U.S. Postal Service vehicle hit the side of a Ford Focus at the corner of Main and Elm in Pella.

Pella Police investigators say the standard-sized mail carrier did not see the sedan traveling southbound on Main Street while sitting at a stop sign. That postal worker hit near the back of the Focus at approximately 2:10 p.m., causing it to spin until the ford rolled onto the driver’s side.

Pella Fire assisted with traffic control and Pella Ambulance evaluated both drivers. No injuries were reported.
