Those entering Jefferson Intermediate School will have a new entrance to walk into soon after classes start in January.

Pella Schools Superintendent Greg Ebeling says despite delays keeping the project well behind schedule, the entry upgrade was needed.

A new office area was also included, and is where visitors will check into the building.
