Vermeer Corporation is hopeful 2017 will mean a bounce back year in sales.

However, Vermeer CEO and President Jason Andringa tells KNIA/KRLS News the company still remains in overall good shape.

“We had a fairly challenging year from the perspective of sales, we were down just a little bit, but from a financial perspective the company continues to be very strong,” he says. “We are going into next year very optimistic, from what we’ve seen from an order perspective and from a bookings perspective, we are very optimistic about the strength of our markets going forward.”

Andringa feels confident in the quality of Vermeer’s products, and says they will remain resilient in face of ever-changing challenges in the equipment manufacturing industry.
