One year ago, Vermeer Corporation made the transition to the family’s third generation of leadership.
CEO and President Jason Andringa began his tenure in late 2015, following his mother Mary Andringa’s time in the same role since 2003. Andringa believes he’s acclimated to the responsibilities well, and despite some challenges in his first year, remains optimistic about the overall future of the company.
Andringa tells KNIA/KRLS News he’s been working for this opportunity his whole life, and looks forward to keeping the Vermeer name strong for years to come. Earlier this year, Andringa was named to the board of directors for the Association of Equipment Manufacturers.
