Knoxville School Board President Andrew Schmidt met with Representative Greg Heartsill yesterday at the Capitol during the annual Iowa Association of School Board’s “Day on the Hill.”

The two talked about policies affecting schools and toured the Capitol. Schmidt and other school board representatives throughout the state are using this week to communicate their feelings about funding and the future of education to the legislature.
