Knoxville’s Sugar Plum Ball father-daughter will be held Saturday, February 4.

Pennie Sommar, says it gives young women and their fathers the chance to bond over a special night. Her main goal is to give fathers and daughters the chance to spend time together. The ball features dancing, games and the chance to get dressed up, which Sommar says the four to twelve year-old girls who attend thoroughly enjoy. Tickets can be purchased at Iowa State Savings Bank, Eye Health Solutions and the Knoxville Public Library. The cost is $25 for a father and daughter, with $10 added for each additional daughter. After January 27 the price will increase to $35. The dance with be held at Celebrate Church and the proceeds will benefit the Knoxville Public Library.
