The Pella varsity teams split with Bondurant-Farrar Saturday in bowling action at Pella Excit-A-Bowl. 

In boy’s action, the Dutch topped the Blue Jays 2,796 – 2,472. The Little Dutch were led by Matt De Jong with a 226 game and 411 series.

The Lady Dutch put up some of their best numbers of the season but ultimately came up short 2,010 – 1,957. They were led by Kirsten Veenstra with scores of 161 & 157 as she set a new girls team record with a 318 series. The 1,957 score is a new girls school record.

Pella and Pella Christian will square off this Saturday at the Pella Excit-a-Bowl.
