A tip in at the buzzer by Carlisle’s Cole Henderson gave the Wildcats a 70-to-68 win over Knoxville in Wells Fargo Arena last night in boy’s basketball. Carlisle had the lead up by nine early but Knoxville fought back to tie the game at 38 at the half and the game was never more than a two possession difference the rest of the game. Coach Jeff Larson told KNIA/KRLS Sports free throw shooting was an issue all game as Knoxville went 8/16 from the line. Chase Larson scored 22 points to lead Knoxville who fall to 16-and-seven on the season. Knoxville will play Fairfield on Thursday.
